The boys went one direction this evening and the girls went another. Kyle took Hayes and Embry to see Astro Boy while Ellie and I hit the mall. We have a few birthdays this month so we took advantage of our girl time to shop!
We looked at jewelry, purses, boots, perfume... she ended up with her own lip gloss, which she reapplied every couple minutes. She was so proud. I watched her as she would catch her reflection in the mirror and just flip her head from side to side and smile. There's a mirror in the Gap that has her little lipgloss kiss. :)
She flirted with the boy cashiers and had her first m&m cookie from the mall. She forced me to buy a pink hoodie instead of a blue one.
I love our girl time.
10 tellin' me what I want to hear!:
So glad you had this time together. I know there will be many more to come. I used to tell Steve that Laura and I just had to shop so much because we were building a relationship... and we were.
Awww... I am jealous! Can't wait to take her on some shopping trips. I remember all the shopping trips with Ellie's Mom and Auntie... her Mom loved(s) to shop, her Auntie didn't (still doesn't) ;o)! I know that Ellie and I will have many shopping trips to come and I can't wait either! Gosh.. her own lip gloss too... WE KNOW HOW SHE LOVES TO PUT ON HER "LIPS"...
Aww...can you come photoshop all my pictures?
Such a sweet pic of your little lady....glad you had some 'girl time' tonight.
Sweet Eliie picture.
Shopping with your girl. Priceless.
My mom never liked to shop, so I sorta missed out on that. I'm glad Ellie enjoyed it with you.
Aw, what fun!!! I hope I have a little girl someday so I can have little girl moments. . . I have to say, I'm enjoying my boy more than I ever imagined, but he is such a daddy's boy. I need my own little shadow. :)
I've given you a Kreative Blogger award...check out my blog for what to do next :)
Oh, this is so sweet!
What a pretty little lady!
What a special day!
How fun! I still love shopping with my mom. I have so many fun and special memories of these times. It makes me excited to think about these times to come with my own little girl!
