Who needs the ER when you've got a post-call Daddy that can get ya fixed up in no time...
Screams from upstairs and blood is not my idea of a great way to start the day. I'm still not really sure what happened, but I'm guessing jumping from Point A to Point B was involved.
I wasn't exactly on board with doing the stitches here, but I followed Doctor's orders (ha!)... so glad I did. Kyle was great. Embry was such a trooper. And no traumatic visits to the hospital.
Now if we can just get this clumsy boy to be more careful!

I am loving all of the drawings that Hayes brings home from school. This one made me smile as I looked at the details of his bunk bed that he shares with Embry. Their size difference, the pillows, the ladder, the train that goes around the ceiling.
I asked him about the little guy at the top. "This is my upside down room and that's Daddy playing golf on the ceiling."
... which made me laugh because Daddy would only be playing golf if in fact things were turned upside down. :)

Happy Jack jeeping it with Daddy to pick big brother up from school. So excited!
I was a little concerned that this guy was going to wake up from his nap not feeling well because it was the first time he (or any kid of mine, for that matter) went to bed at naptime on his own. Not the case... must have just been a morning of playing Batman that wore him out. :)
Someone else looks a little sleepy.

Once Upon a Marriage, I had that sick feeling in my gut. Oh no, I'm Jezebel. Ok, maybe not the murdering, malicious part of her, but definitely at times, the belittling comments to my husband and trying to take over when I think I can do something better. (Think disciplining kids, not pulling hair out of the drain... yummy.)

Today is my wife's birthday and you all know she won't post about herself, so I will fill in. She is the love of my life and I grow closer to her year by year. I celebrate with you the great years we have and many more to come.
You mean the world to me. Happy Birthday T
-kw- p.s. sorry I have to be on call.
