Exhausted and encouraged.
That about sums up our first day of homeschool for me.
We've got a few bumps to smooth out but today was a good day for our little family.
I love our first day pictures and how they differ a bit from years past.
No new outfits picked out by Mom, no back packs, no shoes.
But excitement and smiles remain for what lies ahead.
We kicked our day off with a scavenger hunt... just because we could.
A few other highlights were finally being able to break open the new math toys,
snuggling up in the living room listening to Charlotte's Web and attending Hayes' lego class. :)
Here's to a great year of Kindergarten and 3rd grade!
6 tellin' me what I want to hear!:
Looks like a GREAT first day!
How exciting! Know you will do great from all of your creative fun things you've planned the kids in the past... I know how excited they are too being able to be with you more, as they really think a lot of you and love you so much! I know that God will bless these sweet kids and you too in your newest adventure!
AMAZING! Love that you're doing this and anxious to see how the year unfolds. No doubt it will be wonderful. Blessings to you and your sweet family.
