You've all missed the point. Just like daddy means thumb in mouth and puppy in hand. The only problem is that I contaminate myself in the operating room when I suck my thumb.
You should print a little copy of this to stick somewhere that your hubby can find while he's at work-- because seeing it in that context would no doubt totally melt his heart! What a sweet, sweet boy!
Unless the above comment by said husband is true, and then, maybe not. Because folks at the hospital may feel weird about the whole thumb-sucking stuffed puppy thing;)
