I was invited to a Mother's Day Tea at Hayes' school. He was so excited for me to come and hear his songs and see the gift he made for me (which was bigger and awesomer than the ones Embry and Ellie made me, of course).
The kids sang us their songs and then we went back to the room for cookies, punch and presents... some yummy bath salts by the way. The music was so much fun. Given his history, Hayes can be quite the little entertainer. So I'm always excited (and a bit anxious) about what's in store. The kid has yet to disappoint. :)
Hayes with Mrs. McMorris, his pre-k teacher. She has been a wonderful teacher this year. Hayes loves going to school and has learned so much from her.
10 tellin' me what I want to hear!:
Too cute! What an entertainer!
We had a mother's day tea also!
I'm so behind.
How cute! You know, we'll be able to say 'we knew him when.....'
He is quite the entertainer! I love his proud smile that shows up off and on throughout the video. His question at the end was precious. hat is a beautiful picture of you and him at the beginning.
It is Food Allergy Awareness Week. Read my latest allergy post: True Story Tuesday
He is just like his Dad... loves to entertain others! It was so cute to watch him... gosh and he is even looking at the camera and smiling!
Precious picture with you and Hayes. You can see how much he loves his mom!
And we know he certainly can entertain. He makes me sooo proud!
So cute!
What a cute performance!!! I called Carter in to show him and he kept saying 'Hi Hayes' and waving (with his hand about an inch from the computer screen) and asking, "Can he hear me?" It was so funny! Carter's class had a Mother's Day Tea too...with singing. This time he actually performed (unlike Christmas where he hid behind everyone else). This time he actually shoved the kid he was sitting next to and told shouted for him to 'sing'!!! I'll have time soon to put it up on my blog! Maybe Hayes will try to wave at Carter!!!
I love the end comment....what a fun boy! And what a neat teacher and class. Looks like he really enjoys it! It's so neat to see him growing and hear all his funny, clever remarks. What a little blessing, who's growing bigger day by day.
How lovely! And the singing...too cute! Loved his question...he just wanted to make sure you thought it was good.
