"up" for a good time

Kyle and I took the boys to the drive-in last night to see the "Up" movie. Andrew, Laura and Jude met us there and we had such a great time hanging out and experiencing how people used to watch movies... you know, back in the day. :)

If you haven't been to the drive-in lately, you should go. There is just something about being outside watching a movie with the sound coming through your radio, sitting together in the grass, eating popcorn and way too much candy.

  1. We love drive-in theaters! We had one within walking distance to our house in VA...they still used the sound boxes instead of tuning into a radio station.

So the ambiance was fantastic...how was the movie?

  2. Tom and I have always loved this, we are "old timey" peeps anyway. I love it because when Grant was little he could sleep in his carrier and I could nurse him in the car but still enjoy an evening out. Now that he is bigger, it's great that he can run around with Tom and we can still enjoy the movie!

  8. Some friends of ours went to the same drive in and saw "Up" over the weekend. We're planning to go back with them this summer. We haven't been in years since we lived in Arkansas and saw "Cars."
