it's been fun butterfly, now go make some babies

We kicked off our first day of summer by releasing our butterflies. What a fun little adventure this has been. It still blows my mind that these beautiful creatures can undergo such a transformation!

Oooh, what a NEAT idea! Josiah enjoyed watching his bean seeds grow into plants, so I know he would LOVE this. Did you buy the caterpillars & their first 'home' or did you catch them/create it yourselves?

How can anybody not believe in God when they see how awesome his creation is?
What a great summer project. I have done butterflies w/ my students, but it never occured to me to do them this summer. I am going to put it on my list.

What a fun experiment for the kids.. I even enjoyed getting to see them in their various stages and couldn't believe how fast they changed... think Mommie was just as amazed as the kids though :O)..

Now can't wait to see what all comes out of that treasure chest you are putting together.. H,E &E are so lucky to have a Mommie who can think of so many fun things to do and create!
